Hey guys so I was doing testing last night and while getting my ca,mag and alk back up to my normal levels I think I overdosed and now it’s at 13. (Regularly at 9) my other torch and hammer don’t look affected by this at all. Anyone know what the problem could be?

Alk at level of 13 can or may have impact as it will often affect both CA and Ph levels. If no changes to lighting or flow, check phos level also which upset these coral and the high sudden jump is equivalent to a spike in Alk and can cause alk burns in some coral.
To safely lower alk, you can do a series of 20% water changes and also do small levels of vinegar dosing which will bring the number down.
Last option is to add nothing and allow it to drop on its own

Its considered high. Normal seawater range is 8-11 and ive seen levels of 12-14 do damage,

Tank lights just came on this morning and this is how my other hammer looks. I immediately did a wc to lower alk (40% wc) is this save-able? Have it for 3 months
