Hi,

Recently I've upgraded my tank with a refugium and had to swap from the Red Sea 4 part program (which was working great) to the conventional ABC dosing method, the problem is I have so much precipitation in my dosing outlet is coggling everyday and I'm losing my mind, I ended up having a bad alk swing and lost one coral that was recovering... There was literally a rock in my outlet so I'm looking for alternatives (I know there are plenty and that is the problem, too much different options and I'm not sure what would suit my case) or if someone experienced anything similar, how do I sort this out? Btw the doser outlet is away from water level.

Assuming it did not get water splashing on it, it was probably just evaporating at the tip and precipitating from being too concentrated.

If you can either prevent that evaporation or arrange to have ATO water flush it out periodically, the problem may be lessened. I have set up my AFR delivery with the ATO RO/DI to flush it out of the drip end.
