This Alveopora colony has been in my display for 2 weeks. These are my first Alveos or Gonis. I have as just wondering from anyone with experience, do they look correct and healthy, or are they reaching too much for light?

There is no “reaching for light” with flowerpots,

That’s what they do: long sweeping tentacle = happy coral.

Do you have a picture under white light? It looks a bit bleached out

That’s how it has looked since at the lfs. It has a green glow under heavy blue.

Definitely looks bleached to me.

No alveo I have ever seen is translucent white

Aside from looking color wise like marshmallow fluff, it looks healthy enough. I’d be more worried if it didn’t extend like it is doing . Keep it near the bottom and give moderate flow . And some coral food/aminos .

I would try to avoid your LFS if they sold you a bleached coral.

Unless it was extra cheap to compensate

Exactly, I think it will be fine in time just based on the extension.

I think in the pictures it looks more white than to the naked eye. It is a bright green when looking at it in person. It does extend every day and doesn't retract until the lights get very dim late in the evening. It was retracted for a day or so right after adding it to the tank, but since it has been extended during day light.
