I guess I'm assuming that the ammonia was at one time about 2.0 ppm, and is now zero? If so, I think you're good. If it didn't not get to at least 1.0 ppm, you may not have added enough ammonia. But typically, if ammonia is zero and you see nitrite and nitrate, you should be good to go 🙂

Yes it was up there for a while I’m on the 3rd week of the cycle and it finally hit zero.

If you give it another day or two I bet that Nitrite goes to zero too :) Then give it the ole water change and you'll be set! Whatever you do, just make sure to acclimate and be patient with it. I did not do the salinity acclimation slowly enough on my first fish and it didn't go well :-/ Still feel bad about that one, but got caught up in the excitement.

You're good to go 🙂

In marine aquaria, nitrite is non-toxic, so there's no need to test for it, or wait for it to zero out.

You're good to start slowly adding some hardy livestock 🙂
