Am I using the BRS RODI unit right

I'm a fairly new reefer, 6 months in. But id like to point out that your carbon block (canister on the left) I think that's what it is? Looks VERY dirty for a brand new RO/DI. I know all situations are different but as reference here is a picture of mine after 6 mo. of use:

You do need to know the tds of your source water. Move the out tds probe to the input on the system so you can see what your supply water is and calculate rejection rate. If it is not 95% or higher.
Call your supplier of the system and get tech support from them.
