For anyone looking to get some cheap & efficient lighting for a prop tank...or display. They have them in 2' * 3' as well.

Thanks Kigs just picked up one! I am going to set up a new frag tank in the future so guess it will be a 48" one! :)

Hey can you tell me how this fixture and the amount of watts would compare to MH's? I mean what could I keep in like a 120g 24" deep tank with this fixture?

It's HL's own line of fixtures but from the pic & descriptions, it's probably very similar to a Tek. With 8 bulbs on a 24'', I think you'd be able to keep just about anything. You might have to place SPS in the upper section of the tank, but it'll still throw out plenty of power. I'm so tempted to get the 24'' 4bulb fixture...argg they even come with bulbs!

I had asked if they had individual reflectors, but I went to the website and read a little bit more and saw they did. Sorry. :)

Well, I caved. Just picked up a 4x24W fixture and a set of bulbs. Thanks for the heads up Kigs! I blame you, and it's entirely your fault... but in a good way. :D

WOW thats a great price, but I'm a bit confused by the pic there... If you look at the pic on their page it shows a 6 bulb unit, but the two outer bulbs are hidden by the aluminum enclosure?
