So a big ol flatworm infestation spawned in my setup seemingly over a week. They are starting to annoy my coral and I really want to eradicate them. I have some flatworm exit coming tommorrow. So my tanks are seperated into 3, one 100 gallon prop tank, one ~75 gallon fuge and on 60 gallon display tank. My plan is the following:
1. Suck out as many as I can first, there are A LOT, I know when the die its bad, so I added some pics of some trouble spots, I don't know if its just bad or "really bad".
2. Isolate each tank during the process. Maybe up to 24 hours? I'm going to start with the fuge since it has the least to lose. Pods, Chaeto and Coralline are the only things that need to survive.
3. Run ROX carbon in a phosban reactor in each tank as I'm doing it on a closed loop. I'm thinking about a 1/4 of the way up? How quickly should I replace it?
4. Do another round of trying to suck up any flatworms
5. Reapply again in week assuming everything does good, just with the system running in the normal mode.
