This one I was chasing since a while but was always very sceptic if it looks really like on the pictures.
There are a variety of these guys and some show more, some less variation in colors. This is almost gold, yellow orangeish shimmering in the light. Absolute amazing piece.

For my own history - Calcium reactor performance
Effluent Rate : 98ml/min
Effluent ALK rate : 19 dkH
Total 98*60*19 = 112,000 ALK/h
Tank ALK stable at 8.9 according to Salifert
That's impressive, in the previous 210G, fully grown out Aquaforest, I consumed about 85,000 to 95,000 per hour.

Doing really well so far for the most part.
Still loosing 1-2 corals that did get hit really hard in the tank disaster from last year and these corals just simply slowly dying off since they got an infection which no treatment seems to help.......sometimes there is nothing you can do ;Dead

Disolved Oxygen in our reef tanks! Who else measures it???

Hi Andre, there's no words about your work. Very very impressive.
I've two questions about your setup:
- You say that you are using a Nitrate reactor, if i understand what you mean is a low ORP reactor with low flow to remove nitrates from water but parallel you dose nitrates with peristaltic pump to matain it.. What sens have that?
- You are using T5 with 1 purple tube. Is only for your eyes or you think that the purple doing some work on sps? I'm using powermodule too but with all blues and only 2 aquablue coral of giesemann as "warm white and actinic component" and seems working good.
