Also gave this thing a go, a ZeoVibe reactor filled with Siporax Pond as Biofilter. The Siporax in my Sump always clogs so I'm giving the 300Gallon filtration system some support with this method of applying the Siporax. From experience the Siporax will do quite a good job of reducing No3, but not that good on the Po4 hence I keep the 2 Chaeto Reactors working. Will let it grow for a while before start using the Vibe function.
Do not let it go anaerobic - IME you will see a rising cancentration of Si in your ICP tests

By the way - you have a very beatuful tank

Sincerely Lasse

Thank you very much ;-)

Yes, the Siporax reactor is fed by approx 600GPH flow so far.
I have seen indicative issues, likely from low flow Siporax applications where the flow caused anaerobic conditions in the Siporax and may have caused silicates to leach out under these conditions. Also the clogged media seem to be problematic similar to low flow, or it goes along with each other.

I vibe the reactor every 6 hours for a minute at the moment.

Below you see the red vertical lines indicating the reactor going to work ;-)
Experimenting with factors that influence the performance of the reactor to get more clarity on the operating characterstics of this thing.

Trace Elements and new Siporax reactor results in a fabulous working biology with low bacteria count as in the pristine reefs of the world ;-)
WOAHH! One of the best looking tanks I have ever seen...by far. So many colors, nice job! :)

Do you normally sell frag packs here on the forum or thru a website? I would like to get a stock list from you for a frag pack of my own if possible.

Another pack done, not much to do these days other than fragging and observing the Siporax Pond performance, got my ICP back and Nitrates were 0 and as well no increased Silicates.
Wow.
Beautiful Frags, Spectacular Tank.
