Anemone causing trouble?

Hi I’ve got this green coral, I think the anemone is harassing it. To move it do I take a blade to the base? Then what how to relocate? I’d like to put in sand bed or on a rock on top of sand
Thoughts ?

They go wherever they want. And I wouldn’t use a blade. Your fingernail or a credit card. Take your time. Don’t damage its foot.

Place an ice cube on the foot of the nem. It should release in minutes. Dont worry about the little water from the cube melting
Option B is to direct good flow at the nem and it will want to move

Sorry i meant id like to move the green coral, the anemone has split probably 8 times it’s a massive colony; i probably should take pic ; the green coral is all shrunk up it’s normally 3 times size ;

you can make an anemone cannon. That seems to work the best for me. I'm in the process of trying to remove several BTA's too. I've gotten 8 out so far.
or hook up a small pump, hose and nozzle tip. direct a stream of water at its foot and it will dislodge.

edit: sorry, thought you were trying to move the anemone.

Ahhh. . . . . Try to move the rock it is on. Looks like Nepthea coral which needs moderate l;ight and decent water flow

Sadly, cell phones and/or forum lag can cause the multiple post problem. Happened to me a ton of times.

If you can, relocate the rock the coral is on.

I mean, you may have to do some chiseling. My bad. :(
I have had to chop up some rock because of corals and shrooms. Most likely, you may want to force the bta to move.

Take the whole rock out onto newspaper and with a hammer and large screwdriver, one good whack should make it two pieces and separated
Or
LFS with a saw can cut it for you
I’ve always done the screwdriver method
