Hello you guys! Just wanted to ask you guys for y’all’s opinion. My wife just recently surprised me with a “black widow” BTA but I’ve noticed it does have the webbing on it and it looks very orange with hints of gold and there’s some green at the bottom portion of its tentacles. The third picture is the picture they sent her , he had a bunch of these and now looking at them they don’t really look like black widows to me. What do you guys think my anemone is ?

This looks very similar to my Colorado Sunburst. The green at the bottom of the tentacles further points to this. Beautiful nem, regardless. :)

Such a cool creature. I want one badly, but I’ve just always been worried about my beloved tiny wrasses around these.

Do you have mostly larger fish? Or do you keep small ones as well?

Had a monster Purple Tip in the 80s inside a 55. Thing was like 8” in diameter. Had it quite a long time and lighting far from adequate yet weekly feedings kept it thriving until one feeding resulted it it spitting its shrimp out and then spewing it’s internals. Best guess that grocery bought shrimp must of had an issue because it went from looking perfect to quickly decaying. I know they are t fashionable but I’m thinking of getting another be although not known to host or be hosted by clowns.

Sabae aside. Love to have a shallow 2ft cube with a giant red carpet hosting a small harem of clowns.

One of my favorite splatters finally had its first babies today. Been waiting two years!
