Very very weird glass anemone.
This is from TBS, so it’s not a very common thing; clearly related to the dreaded common aiptasia, it’s very large (the oral disk alone must be 3in) and it’s much thicker stemmed too. Additionally, it’s remarkably peaceful (for a glass anemone), it refused to eat snails (I had a few tiny whelks that I attempted to feed to it, but it dropped them.) It also doesn’t bother the corals near it, which are LPS. It’s been around 10 months since I first saw it on the rock and I have seen it attempt to propagate, and there are a good many little ones about but they appear slow growing, and haven’t been invasive at all.
A pleasant surprise, pretty glad I don’t have to remove it.
It also does look as bad as the other glass anemones. (Though really, not as nice looking as the BTAs)
Feeding tongs for size comparison

Here's my tank before trading in some of my RBTA's with my LFS. One specimen split 9 times in less than a year and completely took over my IM Nuvo 10. They're beautiful, but they killed all my corals, so I'm now capturing the excess and am hoping to set up a grow-out tank for the ones I keep. They seem to really like whatever I'm doing.

They all crowd at the surface trying to get the most light from my weak a80. They were always getting stuck in the overflow and triggering the ATO even with an intake grate, super annoying. Paradise for my clowns though.

Thanks, honestly they split more when my tank was a little neglected and not getting water changes, low Ca, Alk, Mg, but like ~5ppm NO3 and high PO4 (around 0.5ppm or more). I was also feeding them a ton of mysis and pellets every other day which I think is the main contributor.
