Anemone Lovers Thread!

So.. I did not remove the Alveopora yet...
I can watch it with camera's all day, so if I have the feeling it would start to go bad, it would be moved to another spot.

But ... this is weird? Is it not?

This Alveopora has been touching the left small haddoni for weeks.
Now another bleu anemone is also starting to touch it.

The Alveo does not react at all. I am not drawing conclusions here... but I am amazed.

I’ve found softies / LPS really can handle anemones and eventually don’t get stung once they “know” each other - granted I’ve had nems in Xenia / zoas / GSP / anthelia

Ahh man... I have been thinking to post it... or not. I would rather wait because you never know how it ends up.
But on the other hand, if it goes south.. I will post a detailed log about it so we all can learn.

I want to introduce you to my new Blue nem....
I already tried one last month but it shipped bad and was already pretty much gone when I got it. So last Monday I walked towards this beauty. After some hard thinking an milliseconds of doubt... I could not resist.

Now we have to wait. Months....
For now it is looking good. It did not deflate since I got it and has been digging the sand a bit. It seems like a it is a slow moving giant and not a nimble fast deer.

I can't even sleep. When at work I am totally lost in some sort of panic because I just want to go home and stare at it. This can NOT go wrong. I even sourced a few Antibiotics which I am no user of with my own nems.

@OrionN I am seriously hoping you give me feedback if you see something on any of the pics I will post in the future which makes you worry. Please do not hesitated or feel bad about anything and just write it. I will take it as info. Thanks.

Mixing nems.
I have a RBTA and a large Magnifica very close to one another without any problems at all. The Magnifica has the most potent sting of the 2 and could easily sting the BT but it dosen't seem to bother the BT even though the tenting touch slightly. Am sure the BTvwould move away if it was being stung.

My two small Gigantea as the light come up this AM. Spotlights on the anemone just came on. Please excuse the particulates in the water. I don’t have mechanical filtration on my tank.

Is that a Longfin Clown? Nice pair. She does not want to share much I guess.
It is, yes. She was at the fish store for over 2 months and my wife was fascinated. I actually got my wife to approve another tank if I put the long fin in. I was a little worried she wouldn't know what to do with an anemome as I've heard long fins are kind of the pugs of the clownfish world (lots of specific breeding) but within 4 days she was brushing up against it and making friends.

New crab already bothering my anemones! Lol
