Congrats! It looks great!

Sorry to hear about your loss at the beginning of this thread!

I skimmed through this so I might have missed it.

Do you have any exposed wave makers or filter intakes in your tank? If so you may want to look into getting anemone guards for them.

Other than that best of luck with your anemone tank!
I have a jebao wavemaker and it was hard to find a guard. However it's on the way from Etsy! Currently it's been in the same spot since the day i put in. However, I'm sure it will move. The hermit crab bothers it sometimes!

Just make sure your tank has a well established biome since nems like the water on the dirty side. Other than that and good flow should be easy.

Nem tanks are definitely my favorite as the swaying of the nems together with the symbiotic relationship between them and clownfish has mesmerized for as long as I have been in this hobby.

The only coral I keep with my nems are mushroom corals as they are just as easy to keep as well.

Monthly 25% WCs without a skimmer here as well.

Best of luck on your new BTA tank :)

I have a clownfish/anemone dedicated tank that I set up in August of this year. The tank is a Red Sea Max Nano G2 XL. The fish and nems were moved at that time from a tank I had not intended to be a permanent set up. I find this tank easy to care for, but it mostly contains the clownfish and nems because, as I'm sure you are aware, a happy BTA can split and grow quite large. Here's a pic taken yesterday--

The start of this was one medium sized BTA and a pair of captive bred Ocellaris clowns purchased almost two years ago. I feel this kind of tank makes a stunning display. You just have to accept that if the nems are happy you won't be able to add a lot of other livestock. But as far as mixing different kinds of nems, I haven't done that. Good luck!
