Anemone question

Hypothetically, what would be the consequences of adding an anemone into an aquarium that is two months old?

Anemone death most likely. Lots of people attempt this, usually with poor outcome.

Hypothetically most likely death unless you have rock from a mature system or the ocean for the stability that anemones (and most inverts) rely on

Yep as above says you need a mature tank and stable. I have once put bta in with very muture live rock and had no problems from day one only due to a tank failed leak but it was the live rock that saved the day because it was 10 years old
