Anemone Split

My question is how long will it take before I know if the second anemone will survive or if I should take it out? Right now it is under a crevace with no light but I can see some tentacles.

Mine take about a week or 2 to fully heal!! Then they come back out of the rock!!! They stay hidden until they are healed, or at least mine do!

It sounds like its hard to see, but I'd leave it alone until you are completely sure it's dead.

Really depends on the reason for it splitting -- sometimes they will split as a last ditch effort to save itself.

What size tank?
What lights?
How long has it been set up?
Current water parameters --- with numbers please.
How long have you had the anemone?

I'm assuming it did split as a last ditch effort to save itself because I have changed flow and slowly temperature lately...I'm guessing that all the changes stressed it out, but one is out and puffed up still while the other is under the rock closed up.
