It's not GHA, not exactly sure what type of algae it is, it almost has the consistency of chaeto, and I can't pull it away, any idea what would mow this stuff down?

Any cleanup crew would help. This looks like white rock with blue lighting to me. Newly set up tank? How long has it been since the cycle finished? Here's my article: www.melevsreef.com/cuc

It's been up and running for about 3 months, we'll over its cycle. I have a good clean up crew. Lots of blue legs trocus snails and a kole tang

All good choices. How about a couple of emerald crabs and a tuxedo urchin?

Also have astreas, no emeralds or tuxedos, everything else is spotless, just that annoying chaeto like algae, I've never seen it.
