Anyone else pick up Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?

Hey guys/gals,

Just wanted to see if there were any other Elder Scrolls fans out there. :D

I went back and forth on which system to get the game for. If I got it on the Xbox I would be able to play the game much more comfortably. If I got it on the PC I would have better graphics and user created mods. I ended up getting it on the PC and hooked up an Xbox controller to it. I now have the best of both worlds. :D

Ive only played about an hour of it, but so far it has exceeded all of my expectations. This will be game of the year, as the last two Elder Scrolls games were.

ive have been thinking about it but never been a huge elder scrolsl fan... but this one looks really good!!

I have logged countless hours on the previos games. I don't play video games much anymore but this game is a must have. I pre-ordered it and will be picking it up in a few hours. How is the extra map(free with pre-orders)? I cannot wait to play, it looks even more in depth than the last one.

I have played the prior ones, but with the tank build and stuff going on with the kids I have no time to even look at a gaming system let alone play one :(

started playing today before work. my wife and i are stoked to play this as the last one was phenomenal. skyrim weekend unfortunately coincides with a busy time as i'm also setting up my new tank and working the whole weekend. sleep will have to be sacrificed :)

My wife is an elder scrolls maniac. She literally did not leave any quests open on the previous elder scrolls and the expansion pack.... LOL! She has probably put it down for a few hours today!

I played it last night on ps3 for about four hours and so far I am pretty amazed with it. The graphics and the detail of the world itself are amazing. Just watching the snow falling and how real it looks blew me away. I was never much of a fan of the others but this one is great and I can see myself spending quite some time playing this with more than one character and all the multiple paths you can choose. I am now at work and all I can think about is going home to play.

the wifes gonna go pick up ours tomorrow, of course since I still have a couple months left of deployment I'm sure she'll have played the whole game by time I get back

Wow! I've never played that type of game and don't play games in general, but that looks very tempting. Those graphics are amazing. Haven't looked, but I'm going to guess it's not available for the Mac.

It's nice to see some Elder Scrolls fans here. :) I have been loving every bit of the game thus far. The first dragon battle was epic!
