No clue what this is. It moves around, but cant really "see" it moving. I've seen it on the rocks in different areas and once on the back glass. Looks like there is something similar in the sump.
Anyone ever see something like this?

I thought spaghetti worms stayed more in the sand.
Your last pic shows a lot of branching,,, kinda like a tree that's lost all it's leaves.
Never seen anything like that.
Spaghetti worms I've seen don't have that branching going on although I'm no expert and there could be all different kinds.

Yeah I'm not sure about that last one. Sponge or something of the sort perhaps.
They will stick themselves into any crevice they can. They definitely prefer a nice spot in the sand though.

That's why I don't think it's spaghetti worms. The one on the back wall looks to be the same as what's on the rock.
It'll be in one spot for a little while, disappear, and pop up someplace else.
I have some white tentacle spaghetti worms in the live rock I got from TBS. This seems very different.
The one down in the sump may be a spaghetti worm.
I don't think that's it.Foraminiferans? These are harmless filter feeders with a "firm" composition.

Hi, Left the house for a couple hours, come in and straight away check the tank as usual. Find this to what looks to be coming out the sand bed and up the glass around 6-8” or so. many ideas what it is? Should I be worried or need to do anything or can it just be left alone? Seems to be moving...

Sudden single spidery algae monster
This popped up and grew exponentially within hours. It looks and feels like algae (wipes off easy), but the sudden onset is weird! I haven't cleaned the tank in several weeks, so there's a small bit of normal film algae, but no problems or algae anywhere else. Any insight? Thank you!
