can i use a float switch for a reefkeeper on an apex attached to a breakout box? for a water on the floor senser what kind is does everyone use?

You can use the reefkeeper float switch. I don't have a sensor for water on the floor (but probably should), so can't help you out there.

where do you find floor sensors for water? I will be getting an RKL soon and would love to get one.

FWIW, Ive seen floor water sensors at lowes also.
