Apex Jr help

I am new to the reefing community and am setting up a 125 gallon reef tank with a 30 gallon sump. I purchased an Apex Jr with the standard 4 space outlet and also another 8 space Apex outlet. I have been watching videos that have been really helpful, but I am wondering how to determine which outlet is which? Can you number the outlets? On Apex Fusion, there is a list of lights, pumps, heater etc...but how do I know what outlet they belong to? For instance on Fusion there are 2 spots that say light, but I only have one big light on one outlet, so is the second line irrelevant or not? How do I know what outlet each item has to go to? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Oulets are numbered starting with #1 in the top left and go across to #4 then #5 in bottom left and go across to #8. Or #1-4 on the smaller one. You can plug whatever you want into each one. You label the plugs in Fusion
