Hey all, wondering if a rj45 splitter would work with the apex and outputting the required voltage to each device? Both devices are lights that run the same ramp schedule so trying to save a port.

Short Answer:

No, a basic RJ45 splitter won’t work safely or reliably for powering multiple Apex devices (like lights), even if they follow the same schedule. The Apex system uses RJ45 ports for both control signals and possibly low voltage power, and splitting the signal can cause power issues, data errors, or even damage.
