Erythromycin can be used with copper safely. Just be forewarned that Erythromycin can have a dramatic effect on the good nitrifying bacteria in your tank. The addition of Seachem's Stability can help with maintaining your bacteria during treatment. Highly recommend running a Seachem ammonia alert badge.
Erythromycin is a very good antibiotic for treating gram "positive" bacterial infections more so than gram "negative" bacterial infections.
