I've heard they can be hit or miss. I'm planning to try one in my tank though. I'm at the point of desperation.Tried everything else, got a matted filefish and aptasia are gone, and if you pops up its gone:)

I can't add Peppermint or Nudibranches because of my Wrasse so I use Aptasia-X. I know I won't get rid of them this way, but as soon as I see one I take care of it so it doesn't get out of control.
Because it's been an ongoing battle with them since I started the tank a little over a year ago. When I think I got them all and there's no sign of them, they come back. Why do you think you can't get rid of them with Aiptasia X? You most certainly can eradicate them with persistence and Aiptasia X :)
Mine now reside in my sump as they began attacking my euphyllia :(I've had great success with peppermint shrimp. I believe it's important to get an "army" of them. One or two probably won't do it.
Mine won't touch themI'm goin to try peppermint shrimp
