There is a separation of the seam on the front glass on the bottom on RedSea Reefer 250 (56 gals). I bought the tank knowing it is there and willing to replace all seams if necessary. I am in need of ideas of how to go about this, it doesn’t pass the bottom glass pane. I was thinking of getting a small needle syringe and push some ASI silicone just for security. What do you think? Do I need to replace all seams? I’m just trying to go the less headache route. Thanks for any ideas.

My friend just had the seam break on his red sea 170 so I would go with full replacement of that pane of glass. Old cured silicone wont stick to new silicone so adding it might help hold the pieces of glass better but wont create a water seal should the seam continue to come apart.

Are you saying remove and clean just the front glass and reseal it back in?
Yes. You'll have to cut off all three seams on the panel. Completely clean the glass and then reseal it back together. Just like when it was manufactured. That's the only way to properly fix this tank.
