Aqueon Shortcoming

Struggling with evaporation and grabbed an Aqueon 36"x18" glass top for my 36" wide JBJ 65. Am I the only one that didn't know that Aqueon's 36" wide tops are really only 35" wide?

Struggling with evaporation and grabbed an Aqueon 36"x18" glass top for my 36" wide JBJ 65. Am I the only one that didn't know that Aqueon's 36" wide tops are really only 35" wide?

None of those mass produced tanks will measure exactly what they say and second those lids are intended to go on rimmed aquariums and I’m pretty sure that’s why they are shorter.
