My question today is simple... Reefing truly is a rollercoaster with its ups and downs. How are you feeling about reefing right now?

Are you having fun reefing?

I chose that I'm not sure.

Although I'm excited about the future of my tank, I'm still bummed that I have to start over. Being in limbo is not my favorite place. :)

I wouldn’t call the day to day reefing always “fun”, but getting out to see other Reefers in public is fun to me. I can’t eat the livestock, and no one else in my household enjoys the tanks. So just having them without sharing seems like a waste to me. So much perspective can be gained by talking about reefing with other people.

Voted no because Im still navigating an exploded heater crisis on top of being super sick!!! Lol. But my tank is looking better today and my water is clearing up!

I voted not sure, since I’m not sure the word “fun” is the right word for how I feel. I’d say “entertaining” fits better for me. Reefing is engaging, challenging, and satisfying, and I love my tank, but I’m not sure it’s “fun”

Not sure? I mean I had to shutdown my tank last week and give away all the livestock in my tank so that's no fun. However, starting our tank over the correct way sounds fun!

Had tons of fun. Now that I no longer have a tank I still come here, still tons of fun :)

I said no, because I lost my fish this week, fallow for 10 weeks or so and give the salty world a try again.

It's been that long since I started it is just part of my life now. The basics of the hobby will never change but equipment changes all the time some good and some bad but yes I still get enjoyment from the hobby

See, that’s the reason why I’m not keeping a pet cow. It would be too tempting.
I currently have a pet cow, it’s just that friendship has a finite time until he’s in the freezer.

I said yes, at the end of the day, you still love sitting and watching my tank from the sofa. It’s been over 20 years, but that still makes all the hiccups with it.

It's a rollercoaster. Some days are high some low. New tank algae tanking over eww. Buy a cuc oh crap algae gone what are they going to eat. But I do spend hours watching the tank and it's a little boring right now. Infamous maroon she's easy 3.5inches and this is her spot. Cleared 3 inches of sand and her and the male don't leave the corner EVER!
