ahhh i'm glad that it is alive, what do you feed him?
I heard that it sometimes could be really difficoult to get him to eat.

It is time for some new shots. Actually there are a lot of changes - I even can't remember all of them.
One thing is that I've started to dose KNO3 to raise NO3 a bit (as they were almost 0), and as my PO4 were always quite high (0,12-0,18 range), so with dosing KNO3 I'm trying to reduce them as well as NO3. I've got rid of phosphate absorbed (as it didn't worked for me), and using Siporax, Refugium, Aquaforest Life Bio Fil, Aquaforest Pro Bios S and Aquaforest NP Pro for dealing with nutrients. Seems that this combination is the best so far for getting high nutrients and keeping them quite low and stable.

Also worth to mention that reef was redesigned and about 20 kilos of life rock were removed from main display. Now fishes have decent place where to swim.

And of course corals - during last month mainly I got only Acropora corals in the tank (as previously I had some issues with some of them - STN appeared and I believe it was due to high usage of phosphate absorbing media, where kh was going up and down during the day).

So from last photo shoot here is my collection of zoas:

Gorgeous orange shoulder tang!

And nice shots all around! Do your zoas grow right into your substrate? I like the idea of just having a zoa carpet! Very cool!!

Hi Armetas!
Your tank is amazing!
What you can say about a differents between LED and T5 , what changes you were expect and what changes light swap gave you in real?
What is your bulb combination?

How you put Siporaks to the sump? Did you stock Siporax by collumns?
Could you make some pictures of the sump, please?
Thank you.

I've switched from LED to T5 and I'm really happy about. View is much more comfortable to the eye, some coral grow increased and colors changed. The down side is that you need to burn T5's before you put it into the lightning (60 hours at least). And each 8 months it should be replaced. So cost wise it is more expensive - but I'm happy with it.

My bulb combination by position:

1 Osram Blue
2 ATI Coral Plus
3 Osram Blue
4 Blau Reef Extreme
5 ATI Coral Plus
6 Osram Blue
7 Blau Super Actinic
8 ATI Blue plus

I've used siporax, but now I'm not using them as nitrates are almost 0 and with siporax I needed to add KNO3 additionally to the system. But yes it was stacked into the columns
