Its been a slow journey. First got an RO/DI 4 stage filter and was pretty proud that I "made" water. Next came the tank and sump. I went with a 40gal breeder and a 20 gal sump. I measured those then overbuilt the stand. Drilled the tank and added an Eclipse S overflow. For a return pump I have a 700 gph pump from EBAY. I have 2 lights from my current FOLR tank that I am going to use. But, I'm going to add in a DIY LED system I'm going to build from a YouTube channel. I ordered the baffles from an EBAY website because it was cheaper to buy this as a kit than to cut my own. I hooked everything up this weekend and failed to get any pics of the leak test in the driveway.
The build parts so far:
Lights Coralife T5 and the DIY lights:
40 gallon tank, super overbuilt stand, the sump baffle kit: https://www.ebay.com/itm/REFUGIUM-K...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
the overflow box: https://aquarium.bulkreefsupply.com/search?w=Eclipse S Overflow Box (600 GPH)&asug=

I'm going to control most of the lighting thru 2 Wifi power strips:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZYLSYIA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and I'm planning on using a wavemeker with 2 powerheads. : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005TJCU0U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm going to use a combination of live rock from my current tank and dry rock.
I'll post more as I progress. And, I use "progress" loosely....
