So just spotted this guy this morning before lights came on. He started making his was back into the sand bed when lights started coming on. Can anyone ID if this is an asterina star?

Yes asterina
They multiply quickly and not welcome in any of my tanks. They can be nice or destroy zoa and other coral

6 legs. It is whole. I got a few. Its like bristle worms. Ya see one ya have more.

I tend to just let them be …. none ever bothered my corals and they are good scavengers.

Problem is, they break off a leg which develops into a new star, then replace that leg. Both stars break off a leg and so forth then one day there is dozens in the tank
