I ended up retuning the units. The units didn’t have enough spread and I was not impressed by the par output relative to the A8 line of products which are Radion knockoffs (par and spectrum on the A8 are impressive). My plan now is to keep using my AI Blades and eventually replace them with the legit ATI Stratons once their X line of products comes out. Not sure I will get the X or one of the existing models but I want to be able to compare.

Th seller on AliExpress tried to cheat me out of a return. I shipped the units back to China and paid for shipping. After that the seller ghosted me until until the 30 day AliExpress return window ran out. I tried to appeal to AliExpress and they did nothing. I then went to my credit card company who ultimately got a refund. They had to file a dispute with the intermediary bank. I kept a log of all my chat with customer service as well as evidence that the units were shipped back. Got my money back thankfully. I have ordered from AliExpress many times with no issue. Sometimes you run into bad sellers.

Nope, not even an APK file, their CS rep indicated that it is QR coded into the box, which I found deceiving/misleading, ended it not buying it.

I bought one of these lights in september the kassray T169. Bought from alibaba for £330 including delivery. I also purchased an orphek universal tank mount to be able to mount the light on my tank. The built quality looked really good and the app is excellent and easy to use. Comes with a meanwell power supply that is silent and also the light is silent as expected as no fans. The light is mounted 8" above the tank and i run it full spectrum for 6 hours so all channels at max but intensity set at 54% which gives me around 350-400par at the top of my aquascape. Then 6 hours with blues and uv at 67% and green/red and white set at 24% and this gives me roughly the same par out put at 350-400 par.(Using parwise to test output) Temp of light on the app never gets above 37 degrees C so runs pretty cool. Spread across the tank is good and even. So far brilliant light and no issues with it. Hopefully it will last.

1. What corals are you keeping (SPS/LPS/softies) and how are they doing since September? Any noticeable changes in growth or coloration (better/worse)?
2. Any issues like paling/browning, reduced polyp extension, or more algae/cyano?
3. If PARwise shows spectrum (not just PAR), could you share a screenshot of the spectral graph for your settings?

I keep a mixed reef, sps,lps and softies. My sps are mainly all acropora, milli and tenuis. These are all frags got from after i purchased the led and have shown good growth and color so far and nothing browning or losing colour. Lps and softies ive had for over a year so hard tell any growth but look good. Dont have any issues with algae or cyano. Ill get a screenshot of the spectrum and post it up

Just got the Kassray T120 in today via fedex. Did some quick par readings and it’s about what you should expect from a 120 watt light. Par was around 180 200 on the sanded and 280 to 320 at about 6 to 8 inches above the sandbed where my spa corals are mounted.

It was well packed and of course silent due to not having a fan. The app works pretty much like the A8se so I got it dialed in pretty quickly due to being familiar.

Also - I did not get the Meanwell Power supply. The one I got looks pretty similar to what I got with the A8SE.

I have the t169 and mount it using orpheks 2 in 1 universal tank mount, works great.

Took some par and spectrum readings using the itc parwise.
All channels were set to 100% so full spectrum at maximum output.

Light is about 8 inches above the water and readings taken about 8 inches below the water surface and getting a max output of 858 par

Wow that's impressive especially when parwise is knows to come in low, the consensus is to times it by 1.26 to get a similar reading to an Apogee. That would be 1,081..?

While I have this open should I use some thermal paste between the panel and the aluminum body?
