Ive been adding ro water manually whenever water evaporates ever since i started with this hobby and its getting annoying, want to know what would be the best auto top off out and a reservoir(10-15gal) that everyone can recommend but not too pricey.

I use the Avast ATO with an aqualifter pump in 2 of my tanks.
Avast uses a pressure sensor tube, I don't have any maintenance on this setup. Been running almost 3 years.
Can get the avast sensor for 89, iirc, and an aqualifter is around 17 on Amazon.
Reservoir depends on space and budget.

Spliced extension cord with a float switch and an aqualifter. Food grade jug. About 15 bucks and works like a charm

I use this AutoAqua and the ATO has worked well for over a year. Purchased a 10 gal square tank but you can order larger. I ran a line from my RO/DI to the tank with a float thst shuts the line so that I do not have any overflows on to the floor, did that a couple of times ;). It is not a good idea to leave your RO/DI unit on for the reason the back pressure to the RO/Di burns through the membrane and DI faster then normal. I like the clear tank so that I can see my water level. When I was dosing kelwasser I would add the kelwasser to the tank and stir the tank with a power head.

Tunze is good and so is the Avast one. I had a Tunze for over a year and swapped it out for the Avast simply because I need space and the Avast mount allowed me to condense probe holders/ATO sensor. Personally, I like them both.

+1 o. The smart ATO. Super small no moving parts and has built in alarm that sounds off and shuts the pump off. Comes complete just plug and play.

I use avast with the avast Diaphragm Pump. If I had more cash and didn't need apex integration I'd look at the SpectraPure too

I have the Tunze ATO and have been very pleased with it. Just using a 10 gallon aquarium with a glass canopy as a reservoir. The 10 gallon is hidden in a cabinet next to the tank since there is no room for it where the sump is.

I've always heard great things about the Tunze, but personally I had to justify my Apex so I DIY'd a couple brackets and added 2 float switches. Just used a breakout box and an aqualifter pump. Pumps from a 20 gal tall tank that I got during the $1 per gallon Petco sale. Last me about a week.
