We are on vacation in Las Vegas and we happened to stop into to see a large saltwater display tank in a casino. Its thousands of gallons, impressive at first glance. I was awed by the number of different tangs I had never seen in person due to the fact that they get too large for the average hobbyist to keep.
But the longer I looked the more I saw that most of their tangs had varying degrees of HHLE. It only affected their tangs, from small purple tangs to large tangs over a foot long had it.
I stayed for about a half hour just looking at their tangs and I couldn't get over how much they were affected.
Now they were fat, all seemed well fed but obviously they were lacking in vitamins or affected by carbon, whatever the case, someone has dropped the ball in their care.
Sad to see beautiful specimens so affected!!!
