Baby Peppermint Shrimps?

Does anybody know if these are baby peppermints? There is a good chance they are because the only thing really in the tank is two peppermint shrimp. There is a ton of them, they are really small, and they are kind of just hanging out in the tank, but not getting sucked into the filter. If that is what they are, what is the chance of any of them surviving. Will the parents eat them? The only other things in the tank are a couple hermit crabs, turbo snails, and a half dead lobo. I have some pictures but they don’t really help much.

Really hard to tell with those pics. Are you sure they're not Amphipods?

Hard to say from the pic, do they look like this then it's baby peppermint shrimp. I've been told that it's almost impossible to make them survive but if you make it, please let me know how you did.

The other possibility is hermit crab larvae, they look similar to that in their swimming state.
