welcome back. I feel like everyone comes back after 15 years, myself included. Something about 15 years that is magical i guess. What tank you running?
No kidding right?

I'm on my 4th tank since April. Small, Small/ Medium, Medium, and Large. Keeping the large selling the rest. It's a Waterbox 230.6. Planning on a mix, but SPS dominant. Story on my tank thread I just started.

15 years, wow, it's a whole different animal now.
I agree in regards to tech mostly. Advances in LED lighting, controllable pumps, wireless connectivity, etc. Nutrient levels surprised me as well as the goal back then was 0 phos and nitrates for the most part. The other thing that was new to me is many successful tanks without water changes. Something I think was unheard of. I don't think I'm ready for that right now.

Other than that, still need pumps to push water, heaters to heat, lights to shine and most important thing that hasn't changed is time, money, and dedication to properly care for your reef and its inhabitants.

Hello and Welcome back to the hobby and to R2R! Awesome that your wife bought you the tank, make sure that you get something in the tank that you can say is hers!
Haha! Thanks. Fortunately, she's pretty into enjoying the tank and encourages me to buy more than I should. GOOD problem to have.
