Guys, quick question, I used to have a 125 gallon tank , moved and put the sand from that tank in to two 5 gallon buckets thinking I would be setting up a tank fairly quickly. Fast forward 3 yrs and I have that same sand sitting in those buckets, I'm assuming still with some of the old water from the tank.

Will this be ok to add to my new tank?

Go new. I can't even remember ever reusing sand, even if I just moved the tank across the house for some reason. Sand is cheap enough in this hobby to start over and not have the headache
