Please, please, please tell us you won’t be adding the plastic pirate chest that lifts its lid by air bubbles??! Lol.

Fantastic tank— we are all enjoying your build. :)

Love it and I really like that MRC sump with the MRC Infiniti. I've been looking for a water polisher that can handle this capacity and this looks great! I'm curious about the canopy. How are you going to deal with the heat build up and condensation especially with all that lighting? Are you going to run any ventilation? Also with the canopy isn't it going to be harder to have easy access to your tank?

You mentioned attaching panels to your stand with magnets as well right? I've seen this done a few times and it looks outstanding. Can't wait to see what you come up with

I wasn’t planning on doing so but now that you mention it…

maybe a diver with an old time diving bell helmet on the other side of the tank as well?

... let’s not forget the classic plastic oyster... the air bubbles open it to reveal a pearl! Lol. :)

It is amazing how much space is wasted with their weird designs. The DOS is horrible, that thing could be about half the size of what it is.

Alright. We are continuing to make progress. First, we ran the dosing lines behind the PVC wall material and connected them to the Dos units and sump.

Then, we completed the second return line plumbing, plumbed the UV on that line and started up the second return pump (another Vectra that pumps through the UV and the two return pumps act as backups for each other.

Lastly, I took a couple more pics of the control board as we continue to connect all the equipment. Just noticed that we added the battery backups for the Ecotech units above the control board and connected them.

Tomorrow I hope to work on the LED lights that illuminate the boards, below control boards to shine on the countertop, and below the countertop to illuminate the sump.

Alright alright alright! I added a little bit of LED lighting underneath the control panels. You might be able to see a few dosing tubes just to the right of the control panel.

I then built the rack to accommodate the dosing reservoirs and you can see a pic here...

I'm so happy with the buildout so far. I'll be out of town on vacation beginning late Sat to the following Sat, but after that we'll begin adding fish and/or corals.
