Bare bottom! ?? How to or can i?

So I want to take out all my substrate. And run just glass bottom. Is that possible without causing a catastrophe or spikes too far out of range ?? Can I just siphon it all out or scoop ? Partially? Little by little ? Or should I just start a whole new tank ;) haha

Could just syphon it out when u do water changes, would be the route i would go

All at once? Or little by little during each water change?

I'd do it as much as u can each water change and just remove the amount of water u normally would. Someone else might chine in with a better idea though
