Yes, fossilized corals polished to a high gloss finish or epoxy coated so they are reef safe.

Barter - exchange (goods or services) for other goods or services without using money.

Today is going to be a simple question. (family friendly please ;))

1. If you could barter, non aquarium related, services or goods for livestock or equipment would you?

2. What services or goods would you offer?

reading through the responses i was truly surprised to not see my talent represented. I would trade my time and expertise at life coaching for aquarium related items.
what used to be knocked as unsolicited criticism and second guessing, i have repackaged as the highly valued, individually curated, custom delivered, life experience coaching, ( in the i-final edit 'LEC' will be upfonted for eyepeal.)
for the right compensation i can optimize your present by reframing your past and encourage supportive participation to enhance your future, i am presently between clients because the fates have realized the need you have for my services and have conspired to make me available to you!!

I did yard work and paneled a room for a guy. Yes, trade work for equipment is in the “will do” column for me!

Yes I would, and there is still bartering, just not as much as we have become a virtual world. But seriously I paint cars, custom body work, tattoos, and fabrication of almost anything in metal.

Im a custom painter for the past 30 years www.headstronggrafx.com specialize in Goalie masks for the NHL but Id be happy to swap whatever paintwork for gear or livestock. If your a hockey fan you probably seen my work on your favorite goalie :) I can paint just about anything ON just about anything. here is a jelly I did on one of my cabinets and I also Chromed this 3' shark and painted it to eventually mount on my wall with more fish.

Great idea for a thread.
I already work to support my coral habit.
But would be willing to exchange land development consulting services:)

On multiple occasions I have made car keys for the old owner of LFS and his customers for corals. I have had to do 2 car lock outs for his custys as well and got a sweet clam for one and a carpet surfing wrass for the other. Being a master locksmith has its perks

I would definitely barter as I have several hobbys besides reefing such as keeping honey bees and breeding argentine tegus and rats some day I hope to be able to just pure barter with no money with all my Hobby's!
I am starting my first hive in the spring!
