Base of frogspawn detriating

Could this be because of low calcium?
Sitting at 390 cal.

NSW is around 380 so I would not believe that to be the cause. That and I believe your pH would have to be quite low (too low for corals to survive).

You can put some epoxy stick over the base of the coral to keep it from eroding away.

My first thought is, not likely; however, I had some euphillia skeletons I thought were completely dead, so I just threw them into my frag tank, after a year or so they started to sprout new heads.

That said, if the skeleton is completely dead (which based on the erosion, it likely is), then it won't heal, it will just continue to degrade. I usually break off the frag plug and shove the bottom into a hole in the rock. The live tissues and skeleton will eventually encrust onto the rock.

I would raise your calicium to about 420-480 and maintain. Raise it slowly by adding some PurpleUp or a product like it.
