Get on the sleep training system. It is fantastic for both parents and baby.
'Happy sleep habits, happy child' by marc weissbluth.
My wife sleep trained both of ours, 10/10 would recommend.

It takes a bit. Our first did better being laid down than our current. She 2 months and might go the first 4 hours of the night without being held. But still too young to self soothe, so our sleep will wait.

We also really like swaddle sacks. There's one that's Marino wool and $200 but worth it.i forget the name of it now though.

Pretty much, but this helps focus on the schedule and routine mechanics of sleep. I am not going to claim to be an expert there though my wife is 100% responsible. She was the sleep na zi, but the kids both sleep great and have since about 3-4 months old.

Oh yeah, those are the best! Sleep sacs are awesome when they get a little bigger too. Makes it so they dont try and climb out of the crib and they cant get tangled up like a blanket.
