Ive not had good luck with tenuis for sure. Millis kinda the same out come also. So fir me I guess id agree. But Adam wouldnt be in business, if that was true for everyone. Ive been doing coral got to be close to 20 years only got half way good at last couple lol

What do you think is responsible for your newer found success?

Testing testing testing, and dosing I ran my tank 5 or so years easy without doing a single test and only doing water changes and never dosed ever. I was growing coral I had volleyball size colonys. But it was 100 percent gamble if I bought a coral that it would make it :)

After I saw the outcome of that thread, I asked Adam for one, but were out of stock. Grrrr.



He gave ma a honeybee as a freebie when I bought the Poletti for that grow-out.

It’s a slow burner for sure…I love it.

Can you share some pics of it please? What’s a polyp guy?

This is 7 months into the honeybee contest! I’m doing okay! lol. Polyp guy is a vendor and my competition haha..

I love my Bozo! It’s a beautiful coral.
I’m thinking Colliderscope grow out for me. Have a spot on the back side of my rocks that a hopefully fast growing valida will fill in nicely and still be seen from the front/side panel. Might get in on the lottery coral too.?!? Thinking “high rainbow” with this one as one of my final centerpieces. It’s calling me with the pic I just saw over in the tenuis pic thread!
Excited to get in on my first contest(s).

I have a lower spot on my rocks that I am going to put the colliderscope on in the front corner of my tank, that if it truly is fast growing will look pretty sick.

It hasn’t! We are working on artwork for that still as it was a last minute decision after the masses were requesting one!

250-300 par 8” under water line. Strong indirect current. Settling in nicely. Got it back on Valentine’s Day.
