Putting together the reactors for carbon and GFO, this will be plumbed into the secondary pump powering the manifold.

I used the Aquamaxx Reactors from MarineDepot, they barb fittings are easily removed and replaced with 1/2" hard pipe fittings.

I decided to plumb them directly above the sump in case they leak, the water can fall back into the sump.

I am running dual Neptune Cor-20 pumps to run both the return and the manifold. They are plumbed in a way to be redundant to one another. Or one can power both while I take one out to clean.

During the build process, I was also gathering all the parts to build the water mixing station in the garage it will eventually be plumbed directly to the IM tank for quick water changes. The mixing station containers took about 6 weeks to arrive.

There were so many things to build out on this take, I was working on multiple tasks while building it out. I had just completed the plumbing and was ready for a leak test and I was also getting in parts to build out the control board. I went with the Adaptive Reef deluxe control board that fit perfectly on the IM stands door panel.

I took off the door panel so that I can start laying out all the Neptune Apex gear, I think I've settled on something like this configuration, there are still some modules that I have left space for to mount. I need to build another separate control board for the Dosing and Trident gear.

Leak down test was a success, I had a very minor leak at on of the elbows going to the UV, quickly swapped that piece out and it has been leak free for 3 days so far.

I will be getting an INT 200 peninsula in November. I stupidly bought some used radions with the RMS rail and mounts without reducing the IM tank has the plastic edges on the side of the tank. Are those easily removable to cut out space for light mount???

Your sump and plumbing is amazing. This is my first time with custom sump and plumbing. Any resources you used to read up on this?

Hey Ninja - awesome purchase! you will love the tank. I'm not sure what plastic edges you are referring too? Are you referring to the Eurobrace that glass that goes all around the top of the tank to brace it?

The plumbing was just all from experience of prior builds that I have done, there is definitely lots of tricks and tips and once you get to that part feel free to reach out for any questions you may have. Definitely dry fit all your plumbing pieces. Add me on Instagram if you use that as I will respond much faster on instant messages on there, or you can just put replies here on the build thread and i'll get to you as fast as I can.
