I keep mine under about 25 inches of water. It's near the bottom of my 30" deep tank.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, mine is 15 months of growth from a frag. It's surely a slow grower.

Here's mine. This is my first attempt at top down shots, so the depth of field needs some work. I've had it for a little over a year and it barely grew at all for the first 9 months, but it is growing pretty well now.

For some reason, my frags in my "Frag Sump" get better PE and color than the mothers in my DT. Had to cut a frag as it was about to bump another coral.....sold.
