I know it's a lot funnier for those of us who didn't have to live through it ...... but that was a great laugh!! As a beekeeper though, I must defend the girls and make sure you blame the evil wasps and not the bees!! LOL

This was in my house and I figured if I put the vacuum down, there would be millions in my house. I didn't realize that so many got out and that they had that good of an eyesight. I figured with those tiny little eyes and those antenna obstructing their vision, how good could their aim be? I was partially correct because I think there was 5 or 6 of them that failed to sting me, I showed them.

I was an electrician for 40 years in Manhattan. I know what is up there. I once had to go into the water tower on the Plaza hotel to install float switches. There were so many dead pidgeons that I could hardly get into the thing, and that was "in" the water, forget about the dead ones outside the tank in the space in between the little enclosure and the tank. That tank fed the penthouse which rented for $17,000.00 a night.
The pidgeon water was freel like the little soaps.
Then I did a lot of work on the antenna of the Empire State building, the wasps in there were not just the size of hawks, they were hawks.
You know those gargoyles you see around many of the Manhattan buildings, the ones with the wings, some of them are not cement, if you know what I mean.:jaw:

Oh yes I know what you mean. Ive been up a few myself over the years. That is why we drink bottled water

Luckily I have meat tenderizer on the boat for jellyfish stings.

OK, I have the meat tenderizer and I mixed it with Seven dust,( I also added a little insulation from inside my wall)
Then I took a shot of ammonia and mixed it with root beer.
I then rubbed hand sanitizer all around the rim of a glass and poured in the tenderizer, Seven, wall insulation ,ammonia and root beer, put it in the blender and rubbed it under my tongue so now I have no more nervous system and i will probably die.
Did I do everything correctly? :rain:
Or do I make the wasps drink this?

No silly you forgot the ice and you didnt salt the rim of the glass!!

come to the south get stung by a hornet
I have been all over the south, I did basic training in South Carolina and AIT in Kentucky, but the real bugs are in Viet Nam.
I once caught a scorpion there, they are very common and easy to catch, you just have to be careful that they don't jump out and trip you while you are following their tracks. I caught this thing and put him in a Coke can. His elbows were sticking out over the top of the can. I filled up the can with Army bug spray, he started washing his underarms and gargling with it. Then I shot him with my 45. That really got him mad.

a cotton ball with bleach will stop the swelling and stinging.
I gave bleach soaked cotton balls to the wasps but they were not in a clothes washing mood at the time and it didn't stop them from stinging me.

What kind of Vet? Veteranian? Vegetarian?

I am a Veteran, luckily for me because this is what I had to use on that scorpion in Nam. Tough little sucker, after I used this bug "Bomb" on him, it still took him 3 days to die, and that was not from blood loss, he sprained his knee when he tried to throw it back to me and he died from complications.

Well I thought the wasps in the air conditioner were all gone but no such luck. Someone told me that regular dish washing detergent kills them faster than wasp spray for practically free so I get some Palmolive soap and put it in a spray bottle and every time I go upstairs I shoot this soap solution in the back of the air conditioner and whenever I do that, 5 or 6 wasps come flying out, then they hit the ground where they do a kind of Macarana dance for a minute or two before they finally croak. It really works faster than wasp spray and after they die, they have a nice fresh scent.
So every day I am spraying soap in the air conditioner coils from the outside and every day a few more wasps come out, dance a little and die so I know the hive is still in there but I don't want to take the AC apart to kill them so I figure I would shoot the hose in the grills while the thing is on.
"This is so cool, wait till you hear"
My back yard becomes covered in soap bubbles. Soap bubbles filled with wasps.
How cool is that? You know like those battery powered bubble makers but picture a 220 volt bubble machine. The wasps hate when that happens.
They get all slimed in the bubbles and that makes them do the macarana which breaks the bubbles and they crash.
I can't wait until my Grand Daughter comes over so I can show her how to make megga bubbles, with dancing wasps in them.
I first want to float away all the wasps though but with this method, I doubt they will hang around there very long.
