I can’t seem to get my clownfish to eat with certainty they either eat a couple pellets or spit out and won’t eat frozen food either what do you recommend I got them 5 days ago.

Depends on the fish and their size. Some captive bred clownfish don't like pellets that are too big so going smaller is always a good option. In addition to that they can be finicky in the beginning because they are probably used to only one type of food. I always try small TDO pellets and Golden Pearls (500-800 microns) first, and have brine shrimp eggs ready to hatch just in case. Then always add in a few mysis to see if they will take it.

Another thing which seems to help is making sure the food is moving pretty good in the water. Slow sinking food doesn't always stimulate feeding. But small particles of food going by them seems to kick in their eating instincts.

Try this. My clowns go crazy for these.
You can also mix a few different cubes together. Larrys is another good one.
