hey Rev, i don't understand..best user name as in what we currently are logged in as? or as in the best user name you can create? if the latter, i created a user name on another website as Panty Dropping Reef because that's what it made girls do when they saw my reef when it was set up. lol

From a direct, clear, concise communication perspective, I think my user name is the standout among the R2R members. For the many keyboard and spelling challenged people who populate the various forums it offers the added advantage of only requiring four letters and eliminating the need to use the shift key. When meeting people at swaps and club gatherings, because it is a direct form of my name, there is no confusion about who I am and no need for me to wear a special name tag. That, of course, brings into focus the green aspect of my user name. By eliminating the need for a name tag and Sharpie ink/solvent outgassing, I greatly reduce my carbon footprint, making a strong ecological statement.

I think mine epresents me well. I have been a volunteer fire suppresion engineer for about 20 years. It seems like everyday I am "putting out fires" in our tanks.

Viva'sReef is simply..Long live the Reef. Comes from my old user name on the local board Vivaborg but everyone kept calling me Viva, even at the LFS so it became Viva'sReef when they let us change it.
