Whimsical post of the day but...
I have a 20G Long FOWLR that has two bicolor angels (sole occupants, paired).
I added a PVC pipe for their amusement, and my own curiosity to see what they would do. They peck at it but even after 24 hours and trying a longer and shorter tube, they don't swim thru it or go into it and largely ignore it. I now have both pipes stacked so that one is higher, hoping they might venture in.
I've seen fish practically live inside PVC at LFS's without rock. What gives?
This is not a permanent thing but trying to understand fishies.
