Yes you could run them. "Biopellets" are a carbon source, totally unrelated to Ca RX. Of course, don't run the "biopellets" in the Ca Rx.
They *might* benefit your system if you have high NO3 or PO4. I've talked with people running them that aren't that thrilled with their perfomance.

Now with warner marine, vertex, two little fishs, and the original NP Biopellets there is some selections out there. I started these but its still to early for me to give a judgment. I'm only 1 week in.
