The chambers on the back of my biocube have some issues and I hope someone can give me some advice. The 1st chamber is full and water spills into the second like it's suppose too, but the second chamber barely cover the bottom media, and the 3rd chamber is right at the minimum line. Any advice to get the water levels up to more acceptable levels?

Can't you simply add more saltwater until the level reaches the maximum line? That's how my biocube 29 works. 🙂

That’s how mine has been running coming up on 4 years later this month.

I tried putting water in the second compartment and it went right back down. I took the fitting between the 1st and 2nd compartments that directs water flow into the "in tank" filtration, and it works fine now, but I bypassed all my media. I have something I am going to try tonight. Thanks for the suggestions!

It will go down in the 2nd chamber till you get it to the level you want in the pump chamber.
Basically, the opening between chamber 2 and pump chamber is at the bottom. It will equalize between the two.
I usually let it fill till it gets to the small upper opening in the wall.

One of 2 things could be wrong. One is the obvious you do not have enough salt water in your tank which would be solved by adding more salt water until you reach the line in your return pump chamber. but before you do that, the 2nd thing that could be wrong is your filter is clogged. There's a filter in the return chamber between the pump and the wall to prevent the pump from getting clogged. if there is food and other detritus clogging that sponge filter, it prevents the proper flow. so remove that filter and rinse it out with RO water first. then add more saltwater till you get to your level.
